Since we're supposed to fast for 8-10 hours for our labs today, we hurried and took the cab for Medical City. But the traffic just killed us as it took almost an hour to get us there. At least we're still in the "fasting period" window. We got our numbers and waited for half an hour before we got called in. We gave them our doctor's lab order and waited again for half an hour before the hematology department called us in only to tell us that we over-fasted and told to come back the following day at 6am and to head on straight to their lab bypassing everyone. I did my left knee x-ray instead and then left for MegaMall so Rina and I can finally eat. I called Dr. Trinidad's clinic to re-schedule our appointment and we were set for Tuesday May 22.
That evening during our dinner conversation, Roselle suggested we take our labs to MegaClinic instead as their prices are better than an in-house lab. I called MegaClinic and told to come in early in the morning and to be sure that we have fasted for at least 8 hours but not more than 10 hours.
