Day 20 - American Sa MOA

Arrived at the Philippine Navy Golf Clubhouse 10:30am and met with uncle Ante who just finished his round of golf. We had lunch of liempo while a piano player played classical music, oh yeah, Lakers was on the big screen for game 4 and trying to hold off the Thunders (they choked!).  Bubut and her fiance Mark later joined us to drop off a dish of kare-kare for her dad and mom.

Uncle Ante then took us to Mall of Asia to give Rina a tour of the place and as soon as we entered the mall from the carpark building, Rina just gasped at the enormity of the place and the amount of people in the mall - mind you, SM City North EDSA toppled SM MOA's claim to be the biggest mall in the Philippines back in 2008.  But I guess, SM MOA may claim it back after opening its Arena tomorrow.

We capped the day by taking the bus and jeepney to get home.  Rina sure enjoyed the rides as we rode just behind the driver and with an unobstructed view of the metro traffic - its like riding a roller coaster but on a flat surface - it sure is more fun in the Philippines!
