Aix, Rina and I caught a ride with Riel who will be dropping off Roselle at TekTite which is in the vicinity of MegaMall. The Avengers have been in theaters for a week now and we figured that this will be a good day to watch it as everybody will be distracted with the mega sale.
All roads lead to SM! The traffic was super bad and we even had a minor fender bender. All is good though just needed a morning jolt as we all skipped coffee.
The mall was jam-packed and its not even a weekend yet! We headed straight to level 3 and into the box office to purchase our tickets. We only had less than 10 minutes before the start of the movie so we snubbed the confectionery stand.
The movie was ho-hum - I guess with all the hyped about this movie we were expecting more. The build-up (if you can call it that) was slow and sometime unnecessary. The story line could have been more polished by doing away with all the in-fighting and Fury's characterization as a puppet master.
Lunch was a quick one as the food court was packed to the rafters - time was 2pm by the way. We went our separate ways - Rina and Aix went for the girly stuff while I headed to the candy store - CD-R King is a good place to hangout.
After a couple of hours, I headed to the food court for a merienda of Razon's halo halo and texted the girls of my whereabouts. They were so excited showing me the items they got - they bought two of everything while I showed them my empty glass of halo halo.
It rained metro-wide and the queue for the taxi was pretty long as it was 5pm (rush hour). It took us an hour to get our cab and another half an hour to reach home. Mercato was again on the agenda for 10pm but with the steady drizzle and exhaustion we again decided to have a rain-check.
